Job Profile:
Roles involve ability to design, develop, and deploy solutions that cater to the customer’s requirements. Candidates must be able to understand the customer’s environment and define business requirements.
•Accountable for maintaining a high degree of solution architecture and design capability with deep technical skills
•Understand customer environment and define business requirements with engagement and practice managers
•Develop architectural/functional design document based on existing examples or new requirements
•Map product solution and technical information to customer’s context; Conduct informal risk analysis
•Create local prototype, or proof of concept, to test solution
•On-going Advice (Knowledge Transfer) to the Customer and Partners
•Build knowledge base and gather best practices on technology, products, business processes, and the industry
•Understand and Develop Vision and Scope, Strategy and Technical Documents
Technical Skills
•Overall 8-15 years’ experience in AD and System Center products (SMS, MOM)
•Multi-domain Active Directory security architectures
•Windows XP/Vista/7 Image Development and Deployment utilizing Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
•Seployment of Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) technologies – App-V, MED-V, AGPM, etc.
•Experience with design and deployment of Microsoft SMS/SCCM, SCOM
•Experience in Virtualization (Hyper-V, App-V, Med-V) – Value Add / Secondary Skill
•Experience with MS Windows Server 2003/2008
•Knowledge of MS security (Patch Management)
•Experience with automated deployment methodologies (e.g., Lite-touch, Zero Touch) and application packaging / distribution
•Proficiency with scripting languages, multiple packaging / deployment applications, and distribution methods
•Knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory including setting domain policies, Group Policy, site definition, replication, trusts and Windows Networking Services like strong DNS Services, DHCP Services, IIS Server, Cluster Server.
•Assessment of customer’s environment prior to migration.
•Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
•Documentation for migration plan, development of deployment and test plans.
•Develop procedural documentation, effective presentations
•Experience working as a team leader and managed small teams
•Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
•The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
•The Consultant must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization
•Provide technical thought leadership and architectural vision
•Mentor other consultants (associates and juniors)
•Act as a SME and help with pre-sales, POCs and deal acquisition and management.
•Project Management experience.
Education and Professional Qualification Requirements:
•A bachelor’s degree or BE, B.Tech or Equivalent Experience.
•Have one or more of the following certifications; MCSE, MCSA, MSDBA, MCSD, MCAD, MSF, MOF or CISSP on Latest versions
•Highly proficient & solid Customer facing Project experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment in one of the areas mentioned above.
•Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions
